MUVANN

muVann were formed in summer 2008. The story begins when Nisty and Richard (ex-muVann guitarist) had been played in the same band before and as the time goes by Nisty met Razmara at the end of 2007. The idea to form the band is when Nisty and Razmara hang out together with their friends at "warung nasi goreng sirloin" at South Jakarta and they had chat about music and forming a band. Because of the same interest of music, three of them were decided to form a band together. At that time they don't have any name for the band.

In the beginning of the band, there were some member changes happened until they met Fadly and Dresthi. Fadly and Dresthi is a long time friend of Nisty. Fadly also a member of a band called "Bitterballen" and Dresti in affiliation with "Seems Like Yesterday". Having several band practices together with Kidal and Dresthi, they decided to finalize members of muVann which are Nisty as the singer, Richard & Raz plays guitar, Dresthi hit the bass and Fadly bangs the drums. They also started to write their own material, and then they called them self muVann !! in the beginning of November 2008 a member changes. Widi fills the guitarist position replacing Richard.
All of the members of muVann have been previously involved in other band covering such genres as punk, rock n roll, alternative, metal etc. They love music and they live for music.
muVann musical influences are combination between melodic punks band (new found glory, paramore, blink-182, the starting line, etc) and rock alternative (the click 5, Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson, etc). Their first recording song called “Player” shows the original sound of muVann.
Their first radio debut was on October 9, 2008. muVann song called "Player" played on-air at OZ90.8 Jakarta..
That’s all for now guys and their stories still goes on!!
