THE BLACK AND DANGEROUS

The Black and Dangerous was formed in May 2010. The name "The Black and Dangerous" comes from a description of the "Night". 

From the cultural aspects, night is often associated with danger and evil, because of the psychological connection of night's all-encompassing darkness to the "fear of the unknown" and darkness's obstruction of a major sensory system. Humans are and have been daylight creatures for at least several million years, and nighttime is naturally associated with the vulnerability and danger for human physical survival. Criminals, animals, and other potential dangers can be concealed by darkness. Darkness, doubt, ignorance, and uncertainty usually associated with "black" in English heraldry. 

The Black and Dangerous is a pleonastic phrase to define the "Night", night that the band's always associated it with the world they lived in - the world we lived in - , the world that full of evilness and dangers.

History :
At the very beginning, The Black and Dangerous consisted of the former members of Jimi Gimme, Denny Setiadi (Vocals), Bob Edrian (Lead Guitar), Heri Mulyana aka Sonson (Drums). Jimi Gimme was Formed in 2008 and disbanded in April 2010. In May 2010, Wawan Lazy Mary (Bass Guitar) and Dimas Dwinovanto (Guitar) then joined the band to complete the lineup. 

Unfortunately, in November of 2010, Wawan Lazy Mary left the band. The Black and Dangerous had already recorded three songs in this period of time, including the rearrangement of Jimi Gimme’s single called “The Mission”. The Black and Dangerous then asked Indra Pratama to join the band to replace Wawan Lazy Mary. Indra was involved in "Blood Sport", the last song to complete the "We Will Teach You How to Rock EP" which was released by a netlabel, Hujan! Rekords in February of 2011. 

In May 2011, Indra Pratama left the band followed by Dimas Dwinovanto in September and Heri Mulyana in October of 2011. Ivan Afrian, then replaced Indra as the band's bass player while second guitar and drums positions remain uncovered.

The Black and Dangerous is influenced by many rock musicians from all around the world including Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Guns n Roses. High speed drums with thick and melodic basslines, monstrous guitar sound with deadly riffs while the vocals beautifully choking, would describe The Black and Dangerous's music. The current lineup consists of Denny Setiadi (Vocals, Guitar), Bob Edrian (Lead Guitar, Shouts), Ivan Afrian (Bass Guitar)...They are ready to teach you how to ROCK!!!
